Thanks so much , Hetal! I liked your blog too, specially the slide show and presentation of recipes in a photo-like format.

Madhu, you are absolutely right. I actually did use the stuffing to eat with rotis and it was tasty. I have not tried baking samosas but I think it will be very similar to these money bags.
It will be cooked well if we follow these steps :
1) Firstly, we need to add a good quantity of butter to the dough. When we deep fry we add very less oil to the dough as we are frying it in oil. Here, since we are baking and there is no outside oil to aid in cooking the dough needs to have a lot more butter or fat in it.
2) The baking time has to be till the samosa starts turning golden brown.
3)The layer of dough in which we wrap the filling should not be too thick

These simple steps might get rid of the raw maida smell. Hope this helps.

Roma the money bags look very cute. The stuffing also sounds very nice, I think we can have that alone as side dish for chapathis. It's 2 in 1 then. I have not tried baking samsoas so far. How do they come out? One of my friend told me that the maida did not cook properly and had raw smell.
