I also had this idea of using chocolate syrup while baking eggless cake. I see a lot of recipes with condensed milk while baking eggless cakes. So I was wondering why not substitute Choc. syrup because it has the same consistency, more or less. The cake looks very good, especially the shape.

This cake uses a very simple recipe. With minimum beating and almost no mess in the kitchen, you can even involve kids in the process. If you are trying to finish off that huge bottle of chocolate syrup then this is probably the way to go. For the shape I have to thank the Nilgiris supermarket that had only hexagonal cake tins :-)
